'Viharcharya Isinam Pasattha' – an aphorism of Jain Aagam is truly practiced by Acharya Shri Mahashraman as he has devoted his life to travel remote places by foot, across hundreds of kilometers, visiting various villages, towns and cities, meeting and helping people and igniting a new enthusiasm within them. Crisscrossing the country by foot is one of his favourite task as he strongly believed that it is a powerful medium of altruism.
Acharya Shri Mahashraman is among those great spiritual leaders and seers who consider that it is not enough to convey religious teachings but is driven by the feeling of public welfare from within and has dedicated his life into it.
Till date, Acharya Shri has blessed several places such as Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Karnataka, Nepal and Bhutan with his auspicious visits. Many other places also await his presence. Acharya Shri has travelled on foot more than 50,000 kms and yet his enthusiasm is fresh as ever. His sprightly and swift walks is a testimony to it. He is always on the move, never bothered with the stony and thorny paths which he has to traverse during his journeys.
During the substantial 'Ahimsa Yatra' with H.H Acharya Mahapragya, covering almost 10,000 kms, hundreds and thousands of people has the opportunity to listen to the soulful discourses by him.
People lined the streets, hoping for a glimpse of the Acharya Shri, who always paused on his way, sharing inspirational words and encourages them to take life-transforming vows.
While on tour to the remote tribal areas, His Holiness explained the significance of principle of Ahimsa. Many tribal not only listened about and understood Ahimsa. But also accepted it practically by renouncing hunting, addictive substances, non-vegetarian food and killing of innocent beings.
